What Is Puppy Preschool?

Puppy Preschool is a one-hour consultation session that you would ideally take before your new best friend comes to live with you. Shortly after your puppy arrives is also an acceptable time to jump into Puppy Preschool. In your session, we will:

  • Answer all of your puppy questions
  • Discuss the basics (housebreaking, crate training, and more!)
  • Talk about what to worry about and what not to worry about
  • Prepare you to set up good habits from day 1
  • Give vital safety information

Many puppy owners don’t understand the dangers of bringing a new puppy to new places. Our trainers cringe when they see a newly adopted puppy romping through PetSmart and touching noses with all of the dogs they meet. Is it cute? Yes! Is it safe? Absolutely not.

In Puppy Preschool, we’ll talk about how to safely provide enrichment opportunities for your new puppy while they’re still in the process of getting their vaccines and at risk for deadly illnesses like Parvovirus and Canine Influenza.

Start this new chapter with your new best friend confidently. Message us to learn more about Puppy Preschool today!

If your puppy is between 12 and 18-weeks old (or will be soon!) you are eligible to sign up for our Puppy Kindergarten class, where we will lay foundations for socialization, obedience, manners, and more!

If your puppy is already over 18-weeks old, don’t worry! Message us to learn about training and social opportunities at Kim’s K-9. See you soon!
