Let's Talk Training

The goal of any training session is to open the lines of communication between the owner and his/her dog.

Puppy Kindergarten classes are focused on shaping a positive temperament. It’s important that puppies learn to interact appropriately with people and dogs in order to develop a delightful personality. It also sets the stage for the success of future training programs.

All of our formal training sessions are companion obedience programs, which teaches good manners and the five basic commands: heel, sit, stay, down and come. We teach your dog to respond to each command and perform the command until you signal their release. This means, if you signal your dog to sit, he/she will sit until you allow him/her to get up. Not only will your dog learn the five basic commands, but he/she will learn good manners. Kim will address bad habits, such as: play-biting, jumping, hyperactivity, etc., and teach the owners how to apply the commands in real-life situations.

There are three options for formal training sessions; each one can be customized for you and your dog.

1. Private Training

2. Day Kamp

3. Boarder Training

If you are unsure which formal training session is best for you and your dog, consider a behavioral consultation.

"Storm and Sadie love to play and run around.  The best thing is they are always smiling when I pick them up.  Storm was a WILD-CHILD before coming to Kim’s K-9."
