About Kim's K-9

With more than 20 years of business in West Michigan, Kim's K-9 is a fun and friendly center for dog boarding, training and doggie daycare. Founders Kim, expert trainer, and husband Brian Steffes opened the current Center in Kentwood, Michigan in March 1996. Lifelong residents of the Grand Rapids area and avid dog lovers, Kim and Brian have created lasting relationships with clients and their wonderful pets.

The facility offers a safe and clean environment with multiple indoor and outdoor play areas, as well as flexible hours and a convenient location, just off of Broadmoor Ave. SE, near 28th St.

Kim’s K-9 staff members are fully trained to take the best possible care of your dog.  They adore interacting with the dogs as they run, jump, and play with friends. Dogs are sure to have a great time and return home tired from all the activity.

Clients love the quality services provided at a reasonable price. There are no hidden costs, such as a "play fee" or "TLC package." The staff will play with and love your dogs all day long! Owners can also supply their own dog food or simple medications at no charge.

Yvonne- Kennel worker extraordinaire  number two

Detail oriented to the extreme, Yvonne brings loads of experience to Kim's K-9.  A puppy she rescued while skipping school as a child ignited a life long desire to care for animals, which she has done in many professional venues over the years.   Her love is not only for domestic pets, as she also fostered and rehabilitated  injured and abandoned wildlife.  She has a Sharpei mix Shadow, three cats, two frogs, fish and Speedy the rescued lizard.  She truly enjoys her position of caring for your best friend.
