Tip of the Month:
If your dog is housebroken, yet he patiently waits for you to take him outside instead of telling you somehow he/she has to "go," do them a favor and teach them how to let you know they would like "out." As your dog ages, their bodily needs change. They may have to be let out sooner and more often, but what to do? They end up making mistakes and feeling horrible about them! If you need help teaching your pup or adult dog to ring a bell to be let out, send us an e-mail and we will send instructions over to you!

As you can imagine, as a kid I loved to read books about dogs. One of my favorite authors was Albert Payson Terhune. He wrote wonderful stories about his collies (guess what kind of dog I had growing up? LOL) But I also loved White Fang and Irish Red, Sounder and well, just about any story that revolved around the family dog.
